“Traditional Swiss Flavors Workshop at Swissotel Chalet”
Would you like to go beyond just tasting the cuisine and learn how to cook Swiss dishes yourself? Join us on December 2nd and 23rd for a workshop at our 120-year-old Chalet mountain house, where we will add new recipes to your culinary repertoire. You will cook delicious meals in the warm atmosphere of the fireplace and sip on your warm wine while learning from our experienced chefs.
We will start with traditional Swiss recipes, including Rösti potatoes adorned with warm wine and melted mountain cheeses. Next, we will move on to Züricher Art, thinly sliced veal with creamy mushroom sauce, and finally, we will conclude with chestnut, meringue, and almond sable accompanied by salted caramel sauce, a perfect match for each dish.
In the cozy atmosphere, as you savor your meal and sip on your warm wine, you will become a master of Swiss flavors with the insights provided by our experienced chef instructors. In our workshop led by Chef Soner Kesgin, we will also share tips on what ingredients are used in your dishes and where to find the best of these ingredients. At the end of the workshop, all participants will receive a certificate signed by Chef Soner Kesgin.
